About The Role

JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Senior Director of Rooms Operation, Greater China, the senior manager will work with Planning & Services teams, Consumer Operations teams, and Finance teams to ensure successful deployment of Central Payment project in Greater China and to provide on-going operational support to hotels that are live on the Central Payment platform. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Industrial Design, or related major. • 8+ years of operations experience in a hotel level role, or 6+ years of above-property experience in the operations related discipline. • Strong knowledge and ability to understand, apply and work within Marriott International systems (such as PMS, MARSHA, Marriott Bonvoy, guestVoice, GXP, Mobility) and brand standards. Preferred Experience: • Insights and co-creation skills. • Facilitation skills. • Tech savvy. • Comfortable working as a collaborator, and able to effectively share their point of view and expertise. • Equipped with strong presentation, verbal, and written skills. • Attention to detail. • Able to influence through an ability to articulate concepts clearly and in a compelling way and with solid design skills to support it. • Be self-directed toward excellent work outcomes. • Finger on the pulse of current trends. • Ability to think about challenges from multiple angles to come up with the best design or solutions. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES • Attend regular project meetings and collaborate closely with various disciplines teams to consistently deliver project commitments by the deadlines. • Create alignment and document operational SOPs. • Produce analytical reports and/or presentation decks. • Respond to field questions and create Job Aids to provide operational support to pre-opening and operating hotels. • Update Marriott Global Source (MGS) with new or refreshed content of Central Payment. • Give and take constructive operational feedback to constantly improve associate journey and guest journey. • Understand and navigate technical constraints and opportunities; work with key stakeholders to update, refresh, design, develop and deliver scalable solutions. • Conduct and facilitate in-person or virtual training workshops. • Contribute to the formulation of promotional campaigns to drive Rooms and F&B revenue via Central Payment platform. OTHER WORK ACTIVITIES • Collaborate closely with legal teams to ensure full compliance of rooms operations workflows, including validating operational documents, terms and personal data management procedures across all business scenarios. • Support the development and iteration of operational playbooks including Pet-friendly Hotel Operational Guidebook and Maximizing Premium Paid Occupancy Playbook, and provide operational inputs to ensure field practicality and executability. • Partner with the Fliggy Project team as Rooms SME to sustain project stability and maintain consistent end-to-end rooms operations. • Review promotional campaigns from rooms operations perspective to evaluate operational feasibility and identify potential business impacts. • Collaborate with the Global Sales Team to conduct pre-launch testing, launch communication and SOP standardization, enabling stable TripBiz deployment across Greater China markets. • Provide frontline rooms operational insights for multiple system upgrade projects including Payment Gateway Tokenization and China App Local Payment, mitigating operational risks and minimizing business disruption during implementation. • Support the HQ GLPS team with regular operational standard reviews, optimization and updates to sustain standardized and consistent rooms operations.
