About The Role
JOB PURPOSE This temporary role within V&I – JVM team is responsible to mainly support the JV monetisation initiative aligning with the Company’s strategic objectives, focusing on day-to-day administrative activities to ensure operational effectiveness, timeliness in work progress and reporting, as well as involvement in preparation of Management and Board Papers . The Intern shall facilitate cross-functional coordination and stakeholder engagement efforts involving internal business units to support the successful execution of V&I strategic initiatives, including asset monetisation, divestments, and value creation exercises. The Intern shall also assist in selected JV portfolio matters overseeing cross-functional coordination, typically in tracking of action items, scheduling of key meetings and record minutes, management of Divisional /DevCo /JV-BOD updates on monthly or quarterly basis, review of documents (e.g. Agreement term sheet, NDA, Letter of Intent) and financial assessment involving necessary research, valuation exercise and monitor performance per JVA Annual Operating Plan. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES No. Accountabilities 1 Manage and monitor the performance of the joint venture portfolio, including coordination of operational, commercial, and governance matters with relevant stakeholders. 2 Support the due diligence exercises, valuation reviews, negotiation processes, and documentation for strategic monetisation initiatives. 3 Facilitate in preparation of strategic updates, management papers, presentation materials, and Board/EXCO papers related to JV monetisation initiatives. 4 Facilitate cross-functional coordination with internal stakeholders such as Project, Strategy, Legal, Risk, Finance, Development, and other relevant business units, to ensure smooth execution of projects and initiatives. 5 Support in the overall strategic, commercial, and corporate-related initiatives under JVM purview, as assigned from time to time. MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES Formal Education Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Corporate Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent would be an added advantage. Skills / Knowledge/ Qualifications Good coordination, stakeholder management and interpersonal & communication skills. Good knowledge of corporate finance, investment analysis and accounting principles. Good presentation and report writing skills using Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel) and leverage on AI tools utilisation (e.g. Co-Pilot, Google Gemini, Opus) to enhance work capability and efficiency Able to work independently with strong sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
