Senior Manager IT Application

Role: Sr. Manager IT Application Location: IBC, Bengaluru Reporting to: IT Infrastructure General Manager Team name: IT Infrastructure Team About the Team and the Role The IT Infrastructure team at Ather is responsible for driving operational excellence, managing enterprise application ecosystems, and optimizing software asset management to support global business units. This role is for a Senior IT Application Manager who will oversee end-to-end administration, customization, continuous operational support, access control, and license optimization across enterprise CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (SAP) environments. Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end administration, customization, and continuous operational support for enterprise Salesforce and SAP ecosystems to maintain 99.9% application uptime. Direct multi-tiered global support teams (Tier 1–3) across onshore and offshore delivery centers to achieve >95% SLA compliance on incident and request resolution. Design and execute SaaS and ERP License Management Programs, utilizing automated usage analytics to harvest unused licenses and reduce licensing expenditure by 15–25%. Establish vendor contract compliance baselines and audit-ready asset management to eliminate true-up penalties across all enterprise software. Enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Segregation of Duties (SoD) frameworks across SAP and Salesforce aligned with ITGC and SOX standards. Conduct recurring user access reviews and access certifications to ensure zero high-risk access violations during external audits. Develop automated cross-system data reconciliation engines between Salesforce and SAP to reduce transactional discrepancies by over 90%. Manage direct teams and external partners while serving as the primary liaison between IT and executive business stakeholders to align application roadmaps with business strategies. Experience and Qualifications 10 - 15 years of relevant experience Bachelor of Science in Computer Science / Information Technology (or related field). Relevant hands-on experience in leading enterprise application ecosystems, operations, and governance. Must Have Competencies End-to-end administration and ecosystem management of Salesforce (Sales, Service, CPQ, Experience Cloud) and SAP (S/4HANA / ECC). Software Asset Management (SAM), including license harvesting, usage analytics, and cost optimization for SaaS and ERP environments. Implementation and enforcement of Identity & Access Management (IAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and SOX/ITGC compliance frameworks. Enterprise product support delivery utilizing ITIL v4 frameworks, SLA/OLA management, and incident resolution protocols. Good to have Competencies Experience managing access security via Azure AD / Entra ID, SAP GRC, SSO/SAML 2.0, JumpCloud, or ADFS. Implementation of cross-system data reconciliation and automated integration tracking. Proficiency with Jira Service Management and IT service operations tools. Professional certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator/Service Cloud Consultant, SAP Certified Associate, ITIL Foundation/v4, or CSAM. Want to know more?
