Freelance Foundation Math Instructor at the University of Europe - Hamburg

Your Responsibilities

The University of Europe is seeking a freelance math instructor with teaching experience to teach Foundation Mathematics in our Hamburg location. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Requirements

• Proven teaching experience in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching international groups.
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to teach basic mathematical concepts in English.

Teaching Responsibilities

• Instruct Foundation Mathematics courses, focusing on fundamental concepts such as functions, systems of equations, matrices, logic, and probability.
• Equip students with the mathematical skills necessary for research and scientific reasoning in their university studies.
• Conduct formative tests and a final exam to assess students’ progress.
• Attendance tracking
• Collaboration with the program management team
• Prepare Foundation students for the Bachelor programme and the admission exam.

Semester Workload

• 3 hours of instruction per week (SWS).

Payrate

40€ per hour
