Southern Health Partners is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our healthcare team at the Cabarrus County Jail in North Carolina.

As a CMA, you'll play an important role in supporting the medical team and providing safe, compassionate care to patients in a structured correctional healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

💊 Administer medications within your scope of practice and according to established protocols
🩺 Assist with routine patient care and clinical needs
📝 Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information
📋 Maintain accurate medication and medical records
🤝 Communicate with nurses, providers, and other members of the healthcare team
🔐 Follow all healthcare, safety, and facility security procedures
❤️ Provide respectful, professional care to every patient

QualificationsQualifications

Current North Carolina Medication Aide Registry status
Medication administration experience preferred
Ability to work in a secure correctional healthcare environment
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
Commitment to providing safe, compassionate, patient-centered care
