Program Aid

QualificationsCore competencies are duties, skills and attitudes which are essential or primary functions and abilities of this position or the reason the position exists. The Program Aid must be able to adequately perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. As such, no credentials or licensure are required.

The Program Aid shall

• Demonstrate a professional, respectful and informed approach in any client interactions
• Provide support to housing staff
• Share ideas on recovery management outside of billable services or HCBS
• Document facility and resident activity in compliance with agency policy
• Demonstrate cultural competency with consumer population
• Perform light housekeeping and safety tasks
• Work collaboratively with other staff
• Provide/schedule transportation for residents and activities
• Housing and grocery inventory
• Monitor drugs Screens

Qualification/Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or plan to obtain within 6 months
• Prior work experience in behavioral health and/or 12 Step Recovery preferred
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely records

CPR/First Aid Training

Valid Ohio Driver’s License and insurability for certain positions
