About The Role
DescriptionBuckeye Body and Equipment is growing, and we are hiring several detailers. Our detailers play a crucial role in our success. Detailers are responsible for meticulously cleaning and restoring vehicles to a pristine condition, ensuring that each vehicle meets the highest standards of appearance and cleanliness. This role is crucial in enhancing customer satisfaction by delivering vehicles that look and feel like new.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of vehicle exteriors and interiors, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and polishing.
- Inspect vehicles for any damage or imperfections and report findings to the shop manager.
- Apply protective finishes to enhance the durability and appearance of vehicle surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of detailing tasks.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any specific detailing requests or concerns.

Qualifications
Required Experience
- Experience in automotive detailing, preferably with trucks or commercial vehicles.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment used in vehicle detailing.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleaning and detailing.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as washing, waxing, and vacuuming vehicles.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and care.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
