πŸ•’ Position Details

Location: Oreland, PA

  • Schedule: Week shifts include (2) 12-hour shifts as well as (3)6 hours shifts totaling 38-42 hours per week
  • Availability Required: Weekdays and weekends, with evening weekend availability required
  • 🧑 What You'll Do
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to promote overall well-being.
  • Assist with daily routines and activities as needed.
  • Accompany the client on daily walks of up to three miles.
  • Encourage social engagement, conversation, and recreational activities.
  • Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior.
  • Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks as needed.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
  • Support the client's independence while ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Follow care instructions and maintain accurate documentation when required.
  • Build a positive, respectful, and professional relationship with the client and family.
  • Demonstrate patience, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions.

  • Completion of a recognized Direct Care Worker training program or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Previous caregiving, Home Health Aide, or companion care experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Physically able to walk up to three miles daily with the client.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to work weekday and weekend schedules.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • $16 to $20 per hour
