About The Role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational lifecycle of credit investments from trade execution through funding, servicing, repayments, restructurings, and portfolio exit activity.
  • Serve as the primary operations oversight contact for assigned investment products, funds, and investment teams.
  • Oversee the performance of outsourced middle- and back-office service providers, ensuring operational accuracy, timely execution, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and third-party providers to support new fund launches, separately managed accounts, financing structures, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Review operational activity including trade processing, cash movements, reconciliations, position reporting, and investment data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Support the development and enhancement of operational controls, governance frameworks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Partner with portfolio management, finance, legal, compliance, technology, investor relations, and fund accounting teams to deliver scalable operational support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, data quality, automation, and reporting capabilities across the investment platform.
  • Support operational due diligence meetings with investors, counterparties, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to strategic projects focused on operational efficiency, technology enhancements, and platform scalability.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in investment operations, middle office, fund operations, loan operations, or alternative asset management.
  • Strong understanding of private credit, structured credit, specialty finance, commercial real estate debt, or alternative investment operational workflows.
  • Experience overseeing outsourced service providers, fund administrators, or middle-office operating models.
  • Familiarity with complex credit products, financing structures, and investment transaction lifecycles.
  • Experience supporting fund launches, separately managed accounts, or new investment platform initiatives is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of operational controls, reconciliation processes, cash management, and governance best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across investment, finance, legal, compliance, and technology teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
