About The Role
Job Overview
The Associate Field Engineer utilizes existing Field Engineering procedures to solve routine or standard problems. They receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others within the team, and they will leverage their conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures related to Field Engineering and Engineering.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards within the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) industry
- Perform regular field visits to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues or deviations from design, and propose corrective actions in a timely manner
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Generate accurate and detailed reports, including site progress updates, technical evaluations, and quality control assessments
- Contribute to the development of detailed project execution plans, including engineering deliverables, construction schedules, and commissioning activities
- Identify and resolve technical challenges on-site, offering innovative solutions to mitigate risks and optimize project performance
- Adhere to all HSE policies and guidelines, promoting a culture of safety and environmental awareness within the project team and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, as well as internal quality management systems, to achieve project objectives and customer satisfaction
- Provide technical support to both internal team members and external stakeholders, answering inquiries, clarifying technical aspects, and driving effective collaboration
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement, actively contributing to the improvement of project execution methodologies
Essential Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- 3 years of relevant experience in the EPCI industry
- Familiarity with project execution practices and engineering processes
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar
- Understanding of engineering principles, technical drawings, and specifications
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards within the EPCI industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration within cross-functional teams
