About The Role

  • Provide comprehensive prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling & root planing according to established periodontal protocols.
  • Perform periodontal assessments, charting, oral cancer screenings, radiographs, and intraoral photography.
  • Administer local anesthetic and provide local chemotherapeutic and laser therapy as prescribed.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, nutrition, and prevention.
  • Build trusting relationships while ensuring patient comfort and reducing anxiety.
  • Collaborate closely with the Doctor to identify clinical findings and develop appropriate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control standards.
  • Prepare for each day by reviewing charts, participating in daily huddles, and maintaining an efficient schedule.
  • Support recare and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Current Wisconsin RDH license.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene.
  • Current CPR certification and authorization/certification for local anesthetic and nitrous oxide as applicable.
  • Strong periodontal assessment and instrumentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence.
  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality of care.
  • Experience with practice-management and digital imaging software preferred.
