About The Role

Assist with monthly/quarterly fund performance and portfolio reporting
Update portfolio dashboards
Assist in updating, tracking and reviewing asset level and fund-level cash flows, capital calls and distributions
Assist with preparation of quarterly investor reporting materials

Assist with due diligence for new investments / divestments
Organise and review information from data rooms
Prepare transaction summaries and comparable analysis
Support preparation of investment papers and presentations
Conduct research on potential investment opportunities and counterparties
Understand how a real estate fund operates — gain an end-to-end understanding of fund structure, investment strategy, portfolio management, asset-level operations and the fund lifecycle.
Learn investor / fund reporting — understand the process behind capital calls, distributions, investor reporting and preparation of fund management materials.
Develop financial modelling skills — build practical experience in Excel, cash flow forecasting, investment returns, IRR / equity multiple analysis, sensitivities and scenario analysis.
Develop analytical and problem-solving skills — learn to interpret financial and operational data, identify key trends / variances and translate findings into actionable insights.
Develop attention to detail and execution discipline — understand the importance of data accuracy, reconciliation, documentation and timely delivery in fund management.
Gain cross-functional exposure — understand how investment, asset management, finance, tax, legal and external advisers work together to manage a real estate fund.
