Assistant Manager

  • Roles and responsibilities
  • Shape and redefine audit processes with various stakeholders by leveraging the latest audit and process automation technologies.​
  • Play an essential role in projects aligned with your strengths and interests, such as:​
  • Core Task: Prepare the Audit Blueprint (KCw illustrative files) for Switzerland​
  • Independently assess the impact of methodology and tool changes​
  • Prepare and lead discussions with Swiss DPP for blueprint reviews​
  • Ensure consistency across all blueprints (FS, Enhanced, Standard, Insurance)​
  • Support our review team in programs like First Year Success and 2LoD​
  • Provide project support as needed: technology rollouts, AI initiatives, templating, training preparation​
  • Manage the KCw hotline for KRC offshore resources​
  • Contribute to ESG and other assurance deployments​
  • Deliver training and communication during official Audit education sessions (e.g., annual Audit Conference)​
  • Act as an Engagement Team Coach and promote centralized approaches (D and A, Shared Service Centre, offshoring)​
  • Support WFM audit teams during busy season to maintain practical audit experience​
  • This role is for you if you have the below
  • Educational qualifications
  • Degree in Commerce / Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g.CA/ACCA/US CPA).
  • Additional certifications (if any)
  • Preferably Audit Corporates background.
  • Work experience
  • Relevant post qualification experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 firm.​
  • Industry Specific Experience is preferable.
  • Mandatory technical and functional skills
  • Strong knowledge of KPMG Audit Methodology (KAEG) and KCw (Standard and Enhanced workflow)​
  • Willingness to learn Swiss-specific audit requirements​
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail​
  • Previous coaching or training experience is a plus
  • Preferred technical and functional skills
  • Proficiency/Working knowledge of Adobe Professional would be an added advantage.
  • Proven project management and leadership skills, including leading offshore teams and mentoring.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages are a plus.
