• Heritage International School provides fresh, nutritious and well-balanced meals for our students and staff, while accommodating a range of dietary requirements.
• We are looking for an experienced and reliable Kitchen Staff member to join our kitchen team on a short-term basis to provide maternity leave cover.

The successful candidate should

• Have experience in cooking and baking.
• Have a good understanding of food preparation.
• Be able to follow recipes and kitchen instructions.
• Understand basic food hygiene and kitchen safety guidelines.
• Be comfortable measuring and mixing ingredients for cooking and baking.
• Be willing to learn how to prepare a variety of international meals.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Be dependable, hardworking and able to work in a busy kitchen environment.

Duties will include

• Assisting with the preparation and cooking of daily meals.
• Baking as required.
• Helping prepare a variety of local and international meals.
• Preparing ingredients and completing daily food preparation tasks.
• Assisting with serving meals.
• Following food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures.
• Cleaning kitchen equipment, work areas and utensils.
• Assisting with final kitchen clean-up at the end of meal service.
• Working with the kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared and served on time.

This is a temporary position to provide maternity leave cover and is available for an immediate start.
