Quality Engineer for Assembly

Key Responsibilities Lead the investigation and resolution of External Failure Analysis Requests (EFARs) and customer complaints. Facilitate cross-functional teams in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and completion of 8D reports . Drive timely closure of customer and internal quality issues while ensuring effectiveness of corrective actions. Manage and coordinate quality concerns within the Assembly Front of Line manufacturing process. Review, monitor, and ensure timely completion and approval of GMRB dispositions. Monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and implement improvements to reduce defects and improve process performance. Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other support functions to drive continuous quality improvement. Support audits, customer visits, and quality system compliance activities as required.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Experience in manufacturing quality, customer complaint investigation, and root cause analysis. Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including 8D, CAPA, FMEA, SPC , and problem-solving techniques. Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive issues to closure. Six Sigma certification is an advantage; Green Belt certification is highly preferred.
