About The Role

Brief description To manage the recruitment and selection process for the South African Reserve Bank. Detailed description The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas: To develop and manage the implementation of a recruitment strategy, policy and processes, and advise on best practice to support the Bank’s strategic workforce planning . To design and execute talent acquisition strategies and best practice to source, attract, assess, and hire qualified candidates across the business . To provide talent insights, fulfilling current talent needs and pipelining of high demand candidates for future staffing needs . To develop and manage the Bank’s on-boarding programme. To interface with internal stakeholders, the recruitment admin support team, HRBP’s and line departments. To support and partner with the HRBP’s in the recruitment of senior and top management roles. To interface with external stakeholders – Prospective candidates, 3 rd parties/Vendors. To proactively develop and manage 3rd party/vendor relationships to provide internal stakeholders with added recruitment insights. To develop, mine and manage the candidate database pool. To provide talent insights, fulfilling current talent needs and pipelining of high demand candidates for future staffing needs. To communicate management information and report on recruitment analytics. To support the enhancement of current technology and implementation of new technology. To comply with the Bank’s policies and legislative requirements to adequately mitigate risk and achieve the Bank’s objectives.

Job requirements To be considered for this position, candidates must be in possession of: A minimum of a 3-year degree OR equivalent in Human Resources/ Social Sciences OR equivalent A minimum of 6-8 years in Recruitment and Selection OR Human Resources Management Additional requirements include: Industry, organisational and business awareness knowledge and skill Quality assurance knowledge and skill Continuous improvement knowledge and skill Continued learning and/or professional development knowledge and skill Research skills relevant for strategic resourcing Data Management knowledge and skill HR planning knowledge and skill HR legislation, governance, risk and compliance knowledge and skill Talent planning and acquisition knowledge and skill HR financial and cost management knowledge and skill Contract and service management knowledge and skill HRIS management knowledge and skill HR service delivery knowledge and skill Impact & influence Negotiating Driving results Promoting teamwork Effective communication Building & maintaining relationships Service & stakeholder focus Planning & organising Strategic thinking In line with the SARB’s commitment to diversifying its workforce, preference will be given to suitable candidates from designated groups.
