Research Scientist RN

The Nurse Scientist assumes responsibility for the promotion and coordination of nurse-led clinical research, evidence-based practice projects, and quality improvement initiatives across the Alaska regions. This includes leading activities aimed to promote, adopt, and embrace a culture of professional practice and attainment of excellence in clinical outcomes. Serves as a liaison to system-level Nursing Institute initiatives including Magnet,® Clinical Scholarship and Inquiry, Quality Improvement, and the Institutional Review Board.
