About The Role

Performs as a team member with the venue hosts, food servers, shift supervisors, and kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth, efficient venue operation.

Responsible for clearing all tables and resetting them for new seating, ensuring tables are set in accordance with venue standards. Responsible for approaching newly seated guests and serving them bread, butter, water, etc. in an efficient, courteous manner. Assists Food Servers, as needed, throughout the meal by observing guests for any requests for service, clearing dishes from the table and continually providing a clean, neat eating area. Maintains cleanliness of all side stations and assists with side work, as needed. Performs as a team member with the venue hosts, food servers, shift supervisors, and kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth, efficient venue operation. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Checks for satisfaction and properly uses the Service Recovery process to resolve problems when they exist. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Restaurant experience preferred Minimum 1 year work experience in a restaurant, either front of house or back of house Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the venue Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned area. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand Basic English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
