About the Role

We are looking for a pragmatic, adaptable, and seasoned Senior or Lead Fullstack Engineer to join our engineering team. You will play a key role in architecting, building, and evolving complex, scalable applications across modern frontend and backend stacks.

⚡Modern AI-Native Workflow

We view AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, Supermaven) as core engineering force multipliers. We expect you to actively use these tools in your everyday workflow to move faster - combined with the sharp engineering intuition to critically evaluate generated code, catch subtle bugs, enforce security boundaries, and know exactly when not to trust AI output.

Our core platforms and products span a diverse tech ecosystem. We do not expect you to know all of these technologies, but we do expect you to have successfully navigated multiple tech stacks throughout your career and brought strong architectural insights along the way.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Delivery: Design, build, test, and maintain robust, scalable fullstack applications from database schema design through to frontend UI integration.

Architectural Governance: Evaluate technology trade-offs, choose the right tool for the job, and articulate why specific frameworks or patterns should be adopted or retired.

AI-Accelerated Engineering: Use AI coding assistants to accelerate prototyping, boilerplate generation, and refactoring while upholding strict standards for security, performance, and correctness.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, drive engineering best practices, lead code reviews, and establish team technical standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, and business stakeholders to translate vague requirements into resilient technical solutions.

Performance & Reliability: Profile and optimize frontend render speeds, backend API latency, and database query performance on AWS/GCP.

What We Look For

Multi-stack experience: A proven track record of deep in at least one language and comfortable in several.

Strong Architectural Opinions: The ability to clearly articulate why you chose a specific technology or pattern over another, acknowledging trade-offs in performance, developer velocity, and maintainability.

Practical AI Tooling Competency: Daily hands-on experience using AI coding assistants paired with the critical judgment required to audit, refactor, and ensure AI-generated output meets production-grade standards.

Cloud Fluency: Solid operational understanding of deploying, running, and debugging services in cloud environments (AWS or GCP).

Engineering Fundamentals: Strong grasp of clean code principles, system design, relational & non-relational databases, caching strategies, and security best practices.

Pragmatic Problem Solver: You care about business outcomes and end-user experience, not just technology for technology's sake.
