General Accountant

• Manage daily accounting transactions and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company financial policies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors when required.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor expenses and assist in cost control activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience as a General Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Odoo, or Zoho.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations, including VAT and income tax.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and tax filing procedures is a plus.
