Medical Billing Specialist - Cebu Onsite

Billing Reconciliation Specialist with hands-on experience managing billing audits, payment reconciliation, account balancing, and discrepancy resolution. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billing transactions by reconciling invoices, payments, adjustments, and account balances across multiple systems. Experience using billing platforms, EHR/EMR systems, payment portals, and Microsoft Excel is preferred. Responsibilities: · Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of billing transactions, payments, and account balances. · Review and validate invoices, claims, payments, refunds, adjustments, and write-offs for accuracy. · Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, billing variances, and outstanding balances. · Reconcile data between billing systems, payment portals, banking records, and accounting platforms. · Identify trends, recurring issues, and root causes of reconciliation discrepancies. · Collaborate with billing, collections, revenue cycle, and accounting teams to resolve account issues. · Monitor unapplied payments, credit balances, and payment posting exceptions. Qualifications: · Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management. · Familiarity with payment reconciliation reports and aging reports. · Experience working with insurance carriers, clearinghouses, or healthcare payment portals. · Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation best practices. · Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, revenue cycle management, accounting, or financial reconciliation. · Experience with billing systems, EMR/EHR platforms, practice management software, or accounting systems preferred. · Strong understanding of payment posting, accounts receivable, invoice management, and reconciliation processes.
