About The Role

United Concrete Products is looking for an experienced Purchasing & Inventory Manager to lead procurement and inventory operations at our precast concrete manufacturing facility. If you're skilled at negotiating with vendors, optimizing stock levels, and leading a team in a fast-paced industrial environment, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Source and purchase raw materials (rebar, wire mesh, admixtures) and production supplies
Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors to control costs
Manage inventory levels for raw materials, tools, and finished goods
Perform cycle counts and physical inventories; resolve discrepancies
Supervise and develop a team of buyers and inventory staff
Partner with Production and Logistics to keep materials flowing on schedule
Track vendor performance and identify cost-saving opportunities

What You Bring

5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management
3+ years in a supervisory or management role
Experience with ERP/inventory software
Strong negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools

Nice to Have

Experience in precast concrete, ready-mix, or construction materials manufacturing
Knowledge of commercial vehicle/fleet parts procurement
