Location: Chicago, IL

Department: Blow Molding Operations

Employment Type: Full-Time, $26.00 Hourly Rate

Reports To: Blow Molding Group Leader / Supervisor

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Machine Set Up Operator to join our Blow Molding team. In this role, you will play a key part in setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment that produces high-quality products. What You'll Do

As a Machine Set Up Operator, you will

  • Set up and change over blow molding machines, including color changes and mold/tooling changes
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs and adjustments to keep production running efficiently
  • Monitor materials and production processes to ensure product quality standards are met
  • Support production line operations as needed to maintain workflow and productivity
  • Complete work order reporting and production documentation in JD Edwards
  • Communicate production issues, updates, and opportunities for improvement to supervisors and team members
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
  • Support team goals and assist in other duties as assigned

QualificationsWhat We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Dependable work habits and a positive team-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in blow molding operations or related manufacturing environments

Training in Blow Molding Technology

  • Previous leadership or shift lead experience
  • Experience directing or coordinating work within a manufacturing team
