FSQ Technician - 1st Shift, 2nd Shift or Weekend Shift

DescriptionAs part of our FSQA team, you would be responsible for ensuring the overall quality in your assigned area through the management of regulatory, company, and customer policies and programs. You will report directly to the QA manager. To ensure success as a QA Technician, you should have sound knowledge of testing procedures, a good eye for detail, and advanced problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Ensure company and customer quality standards are being met
Conduct quality tests, perform inspection checks, and calibrate equipment
Analyze samples for all areas of the processing plant, including raw materials and finished products.
Analyze pH, Gluten, and water activity
Communicate findings regarding food safety deficiencies to FSQA Manager and provides feedback and recommendations
Ensure employees are following safety regulations

QualificationsSkills and Qualifications:

Previous QA experience is preferred, but not required
Maintain a safe working environment
Ability to work on the computer and proficiently use Excel and Word Processing
Ability to uphold regulatory, company, and customer standards
Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
Sufficient written communication and reading skills
Ability to operate or to quickly learn equipment
Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Ability to assess products for quality compliance

Noise level is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area – earplugs are required in some areas

Must have good hand/eye coordination
