Senior Sales Operations Associate
EOS · Banbridge, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
About The Role
OUR COMPANY
- EOS IT Solutions is a global technology and logistics company, providing Collaboration and Business IT
- Support services to some of the world’s largest industry leaders, delivering forward-thinking solutions
- based on multi-domain architecture. We move fast, operate at scale, and hold ourselves to an
- exceptionally high standard - because our clients demand nothing less. Customer satisfaction and a
- relentless commitment to quality are core to everything we do, and we invest deeply in the people who
- make that possible.
- We are a true international IT provider and proud of it. Global simplicity. Trusted transparency.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- As a Senior Sales Operations Associate, you own the commercial engine that drives quotes from request
- to delivery. You are the connective tissue between our customers, OEM partners, and distribution
- channels - and you operate with urgency, precision, and commercial intelligence. This is not a passive
- coordination role. You will be expected to anticipate bottlenecks, drive outcomes, and apply lessons from
- every engagement to get sharper and faster over time. You’ll work across a customer base that includes
- some of the largest technology organizations in the world, and they expect a lot. So do we.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the end-to-end quote process - from the moment a customer request lands, you drive it
forward without being chased. You know the next step and you’ve already taken it.
- Register and manage bid submissions directly with OEM platforms (including Cisco CCW and
- equivalent tools), working with OEM account managers to secure deal approval at the correct
- discount tier for the customer. You understand how the approval chain works and how to navigate
- it efficiently.
- Engage global distribution channels - coordinating with national and global distributors to secure
competitive and accurate pricing. Speed and accuracy here are non-negotiable.
- Build accurate, competitive, and professional quotes in Sage X3 and deliver them to customers
with clarity - addressing questions, explaining commercials, and closing the loop.
- Maintain live visibility into OEM and distributor pricing across networking and Audio-Visual
hardware - proactively flagging changes before they become a problem on a live deal.
- Translate past project learnings into smarter future quotes - if a margin got squeezed, a lead time
was missed, or a deal took too long, you understand why and you adjust.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and pricing trends across the hardware categories we sell,
bringing market intelligence to the account management team.
- Maintain meticulous records of bids, pricing data, customer interactions, and deal history - your
documentation is the source of truth for the commercial team.
- Drive final project invoicing in close coordination with Account Management, ensuring billing
accuracy.
- Represent Sales Operations in customer meetings with confidence - you can speak to quote status,
pricing rationale, and timelines without needing to escalate for basic answers.
- Partner with Finance to resolve invoicing queries and manage customer follow-up with the same
responsiveness you bring to quoting.
- Mentor and coach junior Sales Operations Associates - you set the standard for accuracy,
- urgency, and ownership, and you actively help newer team members build the habits and work
- ethic this role demands.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience in a sales support, operations, or customer-facing
- commercial role - this is required for the level of ownership and judgment this role demands. A
- Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field is a strong plus but does not substitute for
- hands-on commercial experience.
- Deep commercial fluency in hardware resale - you understand margins, cost structures, and the
mechanics of buying and reselling technology at scale.
- You come with solutions, not problems - when something is blocked, you can identify possible
ways around it before you escalate to your manager.
- Proven experience with ERP or quoting platforms (Sage X3 or equivalent); comfortable working
across systems and adapting quickly to new tooling.
- Exceptional prioritization under pressure - you can manage multiple live deals simultaneously.
- Surgical attention to detail - a wrong part number, a missed discount, or a pricing error is not an
option at the volume and velocity we operate.
- Clear, direct, and professional communicator - with customers, with OEMs, and internally.
- Self-starter who takes initiative without being asked - you see a gap, you fill it; you see a risk,
you address it
- Natural mentor and coach - you can bring junior associates up to speed, instill strong work ethic
and attention to detail, and lead by example rather than by title
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills – you will be required to analyze data and create working
documents, not just formatting spreadsheets.
- Operates well in high-tempo, high-accountability environments.
- Adaptable and open to change - comfortable when priorities shift, calm under pressure, and
genuinely willing to keep learning and absorb knowledge from the people around you.
- A genuine team player - personable, easy to work with, and someone who lifts the people around
them. We're a tight-knit team, and we protect that.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Domain knowledge in networking or audio-visual environments - you understand the products
you’re quoting.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco CCW, Sage X3, and Jira
- Track record of applying lessons learned from past projects to improve future commercial
outcomes — you debrief, you adapt, you improve
- Experience working in a reseller or VAR environment supporting enterprise or Fortune 500
- customers
- At EOS IT Solutions, we look for people who bring solid, hands-on experience but who stay curious -
- adaptable, calm under pressure, and always willing to learn from the team around them. If that sounds like
- you, we'd love to hear from you.
- This role suits someone with a track record in the quote process, OEM bid registration, and distribution
- channels - and who is ready to take on more ownership.
- You'll bring your experience, but you'll also help shape and support the team around you, and stay open to
- picking up new tools and ways of working as we grow.
- If you're looking for a place to build real commercial and operational skills inside a fast-moving global
- technology company, alongside a supportive team - let's talk.
