Pancevo Job Description About the Team The Machining Technologist is responsible for the development, definition, and improvement of machining processes on conventional and CNC machines, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and optimal production costs. The role includes preparation of technical documentation, programming and optimization of machining operations, as well as continuous support to production within the Toolshop. What you can look forward to as Toolshop Construction Engineer: Creation of 2D technical drawings and 3D models for machined parts Definition and optimization of machining processes (milling, turning, grinding, cutting) and CNC programming using CAD/CAM systems Selection of materials, cutting tools, machining parameters, and clamping methods Preparation and regular updating of technical documentation, procedures, and work instructions Providing technical support to machine operators and ensuring quality control of manufactured parts Supporting maintenance team in resolving technical issues Monitoring the condition of tools and materials and initiating procurement when needed Continuous improvement of production processes to increase productivity and reduce costs Working within SAP PM system Maintaining records and preparing reports Implementation and improvement of standards such as 5S and TPM Proposing and implementing improvements in processes and business operations Your Profile as Toolshop Construction Engineer: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles within toolshop or production environment Knowledge of machining technologies: milling, turning, grinding, cutting, bending Experience working with conventional and CNC machines Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or similar) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentationHigh level of accuracy, responsibility, and organization Problem-solving abilities in technical environments Proficiency in English Why you should choose ZF in Pančevo?
