Clinical Nurse Lead

Reporting to the Care Centre Manager, this role will help to provide leadership, support, and clinical guidance to our incredible Care Centre team at our Summerset Palms Village! Responsibilities Include: Assist in providing clinical guidance, day to day direction, and leadership to the Care Centre team. Working closely with Care Centre Manager to help support safe operation of the care team. Active involvement with the Summerset quality management programme. Consult with residents and their advocates to establish shared expectations of care and service delivery Acting as a clinical liaison for health care team members with a key focus on the primary care team, pharmacists, podiatrists, physiotherapist, dietitian, and specialist services that are required for individual residents. This is a permanent role working a roster of Monday to Friday (32-hours per week and times to be negotiated).

You’ll bring experience in a clinical environment with a deep understanding of the aged care sector and Te Whatu Ora standards. You’ll be an experienced Clinical Nurse Lead with solid aged care experience in New Zealand and also: A Registered Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate and your PDRP achieved to level 2-4 A high degree of clinical expertise ideally in the aged care sector Computer literacy including clinical care systems A team player with a strong commitment to be a positive influence, coach and mentor A skilled communicator with a proven ability to build positive relationships.
