Database Administrator - DBA

• Work in a structured and methodical manner following industry best practices - Be supportive and open to change and contribute to continuous improvement and evolution of the development team function - Help advice l1/l2 support analysts - Ensuring seamless database operations across various environments - Implementing and maintaining database maintenance tasks - Ensuring performance and general database optimizations - Providing support to database related support issues - Helping with TSQL, PSQL and MySQL Scripting - Reviewing Data and data related requirements - Engaging in strategic capacity and architecture planning
• Either a degree or foundational course that covers object orientated programming - Demonstratable experience of development. Either some time in industry or personal projects - Experience working with MS SQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL - Proven track record in SQL database performance tuning - Experience working with development and support teams - Database design & development - Knowledge of Python, MongoDB, Data Lakehouse, Airflow and Kafka are advantageous.
