About The Role

Participate to the process of Contracts and Procurement entity by performing the following tasks

  • Work closely with the DUET to create the contracts dossier, develop a clear definition of contractual responsibilities and discuss the agenda including:
  • Development of Contracting Strategy and issue Call for Tenders to find suitable expertise to support the different functions
  • Negotiation and analysis of commercial bids
  • Development of Recommendations To Award (RTA)
  • Ensure that all insurance issues of client assets and personnel are dealt with
  • Manage his/her performance by monitoring KPIs Ensure the update of the contract management tool
  • Keep informed of best practices in contracts procedures in other entities for improvement of contracts practices 
  • Use existing frame agreements
  • Prepare and maintain an up-to-date list of qualified contractors/suppliers/potential tenders/contracts with updated information in order to perform market studies; analyze and assess all possible answers from the market
  • Development of Contracting Strategy and issue Call for complex Tenders to find suitable expertise to support the different functions
  • Establish the technical contracts and contractual agreements, directly participate to the most complex contracts
  • Conduct the commercial bid analysis and negotiation thereby creating a clear definition of responsibilities and documents 
  • Take the leading role in Recommendation To Award (RTA) through Contracts Committee/DOA with common recommendation 
  • Ensure the handover of contracts to the Partners’ Entities and monitor contractor’s performance 
  • Assist C&P management in the settlement of claims and lawsuits, in relation with the Legal, Insurance, Finance and client Management by proposing strategies and actions and participating to the negotiations
  • Ensure monitoring on-going contracts status, participate in contract renewal and amendments discussions

 

  • Advanced Contracts and Procurement Technical Competencies required
  • C&P tools advanced certification required
  • Good command of English language
  • Diploma: Master
  • Professional experience: 10-15 years (Minimum 2 years in technical contracts domain) with exposure on operations
  • Personal Abilities: Advanced Management, Advanced Human Relations, Problem Solving and Planning / organizing / coordinating / controlling. Excellent negotiation skills. Understanding of core operational activities and capability to handle different cross branch issues.
  • Mandatory capacity to train newly recruited C&P personnel with C&P Induction.
