QAQC Technician at Beckers Group — Shah Alam, Malaysia

About The Role

Responsible for carrying out quality control activity including inspection of incoming raw materials, intermediate and finish goods and preparation of samples for customer approval.
Support quality control data entry and generation of certificate of analysis.
Responsible for the general cleanliness and orderliness of laboratory areas and function rooms.
Helping with production and manufacturing work when required.
To recognize health and safety is a responsibility of every employee, to take reasonable care of oneself and others and to comply with Beckers’ Environmental Health and Safety policy and any Beckers procedures / rules that apply to the role.
Support trouble shooting quality problems of production batch.
Support technical service and attending to quality complaints and trouble shooting
All employees have the responsibility to highlight unsafe conditions and EHS Managers, Officers, Supervisors and above have the responsibility to shut down any activity if it is operating in an unsafe condition. 
Minimum SPM or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience in Paints and Chemical or similar Industry.
Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Capable of working independently and diligently to high quality standard.
Ability to plan and organise work to ensure the completion of assignments according to deadline.
Basic knowledge in the use of IT systems and software including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word etc.
Team player with positive attitude.
