Specialist Mechanic

We are currently seeking highly skilled Mechanical Technicians/Mechanics with proven expertise in Vögele asphalt pavers and related paving equipment to join our maintenance and operations team. Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Vögele asphalt pavers and associated road construction machinery; Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems; Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports; Ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime; Conduct field repairs on construction sites when required; Maintain accurate service and maintenance records. Requirements: Proven hands-on experience with Vögele pavers (Wirtgen Group equipment preferred); Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronic control systems; Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and service manuals; Experience in heavy construction or road building equipment maintenance; Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently; Willingness to work in field conditions and flexible hours when necessary; Residence in Nigeria. Qualifications: Technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field; Experience with other asphalt paving and road construction machinery brands; Familiarity with diagnostic tools and electronic control systems.
