About the Role
We are searching for a Senior Associate to join our dynamic team to handle day-to-day financial operations and reporting for our diverse portfolio of entities, along with quarterly and month-end closing activities. You will handle traditional accounting duties while gaining unique exposure to Web3 accounting, digital assets, and cryptocurrency reconciliation.
Responsibilities

- Liaise with external auditors for statutory audits, collate testing samples, and prepare accounting memos

- Manage the full-set bookkeeping for up to 20 standalone entities across various jurisdictions (including Hong Kong, Middle East, United Kingdom, Korea, and Cayman Island etc.)

- Handle daily accounting operations including monthly subsidiary funding and cost recharges
- -
- Ensure invoices are prepared correctly and accurately updated in the accounting system
- -
- Verify invoices and agreements to ensure the validity of supporting documents and proper authorization
- -
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the ledger
- -
- Manage Accounts Payable settled in cryptocurrency, ensuring crypto payments are properly recorded and reconciled with on-chain transactions

- Perform ad hoc assignments, including but not limited to accounting standard interpretation and the development of accounting policies and procedures

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide guidance or mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a mix of Big 4 audit and commercial accounting

- QP candidate / CPA is a plus

- Proficiency in modern ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, NetSuite, or Expensify)

- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of programs is essential
