Student Support

• Coordinate with teachers and learning specialist in assisting and leading small group instruction in the second grade.
• Under the direction of the learning specialist, work with students who might need remediation or academic intervention.
• Help teachers and learning specialist provide accommodations outlined on students' support plan.
• When on campus, serve as a potential substitute teacher.

Requirements

• Excellent human relations and interpersonal skills; must be well-organized; must be a team player
• Regular work attendance
• The ability to successfully complete a criminal history and background check
• Professional bearing and clean and neat personal appearance
• Experience in a school setting preferred but not required.
