At Prospect Property Management & Maintenance , we maintain and improve residential properties across the Greater Lehigh Valley area.
We’re looking for a hands-on maintenance leader who is comfortable wearing multiple hats: leading a small crew, troubleshooting property issues, and jumping in to get the work done.
This is not a desk manager role.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys facilities/property maintenance, leading by example, problem solving, and keeping operations running smoothly.
What You'll Be Responsible For
You’ll oversee a small 2-person maintenance team while remaining heavily involved in day-to-day field operations.
Responsibilities include
- Leading, training, and coordinating maintenance technicians and vendors
- Managing work orders, turnovers, inspections, and preventive maintenance
- Performing hands-on maintenance work across residential properties including:
- — Plumbing repairs
- — Electrical troubleshooting & minor repairs
- — HVAC maintenance/troubleshooting
- — Drywall, painting, carpentry, doors/windows
- — General property upkeep & repairs
- Conducting move-out / turnover inspections and ensuring units are rent-ready
- Managing materials, supplies, tools, and maintenance documentation
- Updating work orders and maintenance activity in AppFolio (or similar systems)
- Communicating professionally with residents, vendors, and internal team members
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
You’re likely a fit if you have
- ✔ Strong hands-on maintenance experience (property, facilities, residential, commercial, or multifamily)
- ✔ Experience across multiple trades: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, general repairs
- ✔ Experience leading or coordinating technicians, vendors, or small crews
- ✔ Ability to prioritize work independently and stay organized
- ✔ Comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with rolling up your sleeves when needed
- ✔ Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and personal tools
- AppFolio / CMMS experience is a plus but not required.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to travel locally between properties in the Allentown area
- Personal tools required to perform maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with management
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends if urgent issues arise
Benefits
Compensation & Schedule
- $30–35/hr (W2)
- Performance Bonus: Up to 10% annually
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
