Due to the continuous growth of our company, we are currently looking for a Junior IT Operations Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily Close of Business processes to ensure the smooth operation of banking systems.
- Perform and monitor backup procedures for the core banking system.
- Execute batch processing activities across the systems and application subsystems according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Deploy and promote programs and application updates to the production system following predefined instructions.
- Create, monitor, and maintain data file transfer processes between the applications and external organizations, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
- Monitor system operations, troubleshoot issues, escalate incidents as needed, and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT operational processes and services.
- B.Sc. in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in IT Operations, Technical Support or a similar role.
- Basic understanding of operating systems, databases, and enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with batch processing, backups, file transfers, and system monitoring tools is considered an advantage.
- Exposure to core banking systems is considered an asset.
- Fluency in Greek and in English, both written and spoken.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills, ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
