We are seeking a dedicated **Per-Diem Registered Nurse** for an opening at a Hospital in Metairie, LA. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a dynamic setting, managing a diverse patient population and collaborating with a skilled healthcare team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Deliver high-acuity, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients, managing complex conditions, advanced life support equipment (e.g., ventilators, vasoactive drips), and continuous physiological monitoring.
• Perform vigilant, ongoing patient assessment and surveillance, interpreting subtle changes in condition and responding immediately to prevent clinical deterioration.
• Administer and titrate potent medications and intravenous therapies with precision, based on comprehensive patient data and physician orders.
• Collaborate as a core member of a multidisciplinary team (physicians, specialists, respiratory therapists) to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Provide compassionate communication and support to patients and their families during critical illness, facilitating understanding and involvement in care decisions.

## Requirements
**Qualifications:**

• **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• **Licensure:** Active, unencumbered RN license from the state of LA and current BLS Certification.
• **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of RN work experience.
• **Soft Skills:** Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, effective communication, cultural competency, collaboration, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
