Veterinary Receptionist / Customer Service Representative

El Dorado Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to become the next member of our incredible team. As the face of the hospital, our CSRs greet visitors with warmth and compassion, fostering trust in the veterinary team and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

In this role, you will schedule and manage the flow of appointments, provide empathetic customer service while multitasking between a multi-line phone system and in-person clients, process financial transactions, answer inquiries, and provide essential information about the services we provide.

This position is ideal for candidates with a background in fast-paced customer service who are friendly and outgoing, detail-oriented, excellent at multitasking, and committed to contributing to a team-focused environment.

This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday - Saturday. Rotating or intermittent weekends

Minimum qualifications and skill set

3+ years of client service experience

Previous veterinary experience is required

Proficiency in the following skills

El Dorado Animal Hospital is an AAHA-accredited practice with 3 doctors and 3 credentialed technicians caring for dogs and cats. The 4,900-square-foot freestanding hospital features an updated open floor plan, 3 exam rooms, digital X-ray, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound. The team handles a busy appointment schedule and 2–4 procedures per day, including spay/neuter, cystotomy, splenectomy, tumor removal, and occasional amputation. Team members are expected to take initiative, work efficiently, and support one another, with strong emphasis on cat-friendly handling. Fountain Hills offers beautiful Sonoran Desert scenery, the iconic town fountain, outdoor recreation, and a welcoming community near the McDowell Mountains.
