## Description

In this role, you will utilize your electronics design skills to design, develop and test battery monitoring units and Battery management units (BMU) for next generation consumer electronic products. You will work with suppliers to develop custom parts where needed and design test methodologies to verify the battery management unit design!

## Minimum qualifications

BS degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field of study

Experience in analog integrated circuit design such as DACs, LDOs, SMPSs or relevant

## Preferred qualifications

MS degree and 10+ years relevant industry experience

Experience with creating and using real-numbered models in System Verilog or analog behavioral models in Verilog-A/MS

Industry experience in Power Electronics, Battery Management (fuel gauge and charger), Portable Consumer Electronics, Medical Electronics, or Automotive Electronics

Experience scripting in Python, Shell, Unix, or MATLAB for test automation and data analysis

Experience with high volume manufacturing

Experience developing a list of tests from the datasheet to determine chip coverage

Ability to create functionally equivalent models to the associated portions of the design

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting data to cross-functional teams and/or management

Understanding of the silicon manufacturing process and how semiconductor devices and associated parasitic subcircuits are created
