Social Worker - Safeguarding and Child Protection

About The Role

  • Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its client's Safeguarding and Child Protection.
  • What will your responsibilities be?
  • Assess the needs, risks and protective factors affecting children.
  • Undertake Section 47 enquiries and child protection investigations.
  • Manage Child in Need, Child Protection and PLO cases.
  • Complete statutory visits and direct work with children.
  • Create plans that are clear, measurable and focused on lasting change.
  • Attend conferences, core groups and legal planning meetings.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and evidence for court.
  • Coordinate interventions with partner agencies.
  • Maintain accurate case records and meet statutory timescales.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role you must have,

A Social Work qualification at degree level or equivalent

Current Social Work England registration

Eligibility to work in the UK

Relevant post-qualified Children’s Services experience

Experience managing complex safeguarding cases

Strong legal literacy, analytical ability and report-writing skills
