Eliot is seeking a driven Fee-for-Service, Speech and Language Pathologist to join our Early Intervention (EI) program which supports children from birth to three years of age with developmental delays or disabilities in the Everett, Malden, and Medford area. Our multidisciplinary team delivers community-based therapeutic interventions using a coaching model with parents and caregivers.

As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will use a hands-on, family-focused approach to services that strives to increase parents’ understanding of their child’s strengths & needs, & supports parents in learning how to foster their child’s growth & development.

Responsibilities

  • Assess children’s communication skills, including speech production, language, cognition, and augmentative communication
  • Plan and implement remediation programs for children with communication disorders
  • Deliver transdisciplinary services to children and families in the Early Intervention Program
  • Develop and track treatment goals in the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) in collaboration with families
  • Collaborate with team members, provide assessments and reports, and offer in-service training on areas of expertise

Qualifications

  • SLP License required
  • Experience working with infant and early childhood population

Valid Massachusetts Drivers License

Bilingual candidates preferred and if fluent in a needed language may be eligible for a 6% salary increase

Schedule: Various hours available Monday-Friday
