About the role

Join our R&D team as a Mechanical Design Engineer , where you'll contribute to the development of cutting-edge axial flux motors.

This is what you'll do

• Design innovative solutions for new product challenges.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings following industry standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors on design and specifications.
• Who are we looking for?
• Master's degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design and development.
• Proficient in Siemens NX, Teamcenter PDM or similar CAD/PDM tools.
• Skilled in DFMEA, DFM, DFA, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Knowledgeable about material properties (metals and plastics), production techniques, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills to perform mechanical calculation (eg: reaction forces, bolt sizing, bearing selection).
• This position requires existing work authorization in Belgium.
• A team player with a can-do mentality, creative mindset, and fluent in English.
