About The Role

Director Corporate Communications

As Director, Corporate Communications, you shape and protect the company's reputation through clear, consistent and impactful communications. You are responsible for internal and external corporate communications, ensuring employees, media and other stakeholders receive messages aligned with our business strategy.

Internal communication will be a key focus for this role as we build a new company. The role will be crucial to establish the new identity, culture and cohesion among functions, HQ, affiliates, and operation sites. You will drive employee engagement and support business transformation, advice and support senior leaders on executive communications.

Moving forward, the Director of Corporate Communications will establish mylife Diabetes Care brand to the outside world, aligning mylife Diabetes Care consistent messages and brand recognition to the different stakeholders. You will support media. You will drive communication clarity in crisis situation.

This is a hands\-on individual contributor role, combining strategic communications leadership with day\-to\-day execution, taking ownership from strategy and planning through to content development and delivery.

Your main tasks

Lead internal communications across the organization, developing, writing and delivering communication plans that support business priorities, organizational change and employee engagement

Develop and execute the global corporate communications strategy, ensuring consistent and effective communications across internal and external audiences

Partner with HR and senior leaders to develop and deliver leadership communications that support business transformation and employee engagement

Create and deliver clear, consistent and engaging communications across multiple channels, including company announcements, leadership messages and employee communications

Advise senior leaders on executive communications, key messaging and thought leadership, translating complex business topics into clear and compelling communications

Lead media relations and reputation\-building initiatives in collaboration with affiliates and external partners

Own crisis communication planning and lead communications during reputation\-sensitive situations

Establish communication governance, messaging standards and approval processes to ensure consistency, compliance and communication excellence

Ensure all communications comply with applicable healthcare, regulatory and company requirements

Define and monitor communication KPIs, using data and feedback to continuously improve communication effectivenes

Your profile

10\+ years of experience in corporate and/or internal communications within medtech, healthcare or another regulated industry

Proven experience leading internal communications in a global or multi\-country organization, ideally during periods of growth or transformation

Experience advising senior leaders and translating business priorities into clear, engaging communications

Strong experience in executive communications, media relations and crisis communications

Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively

Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor, balancing strategic thinking with hands\-on execution

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, geographies and cultures

Thrives in a lean, entrepreneurial environment where ownership, initiative and execution are valued as much as strategic thinking

Pragmatic, proactive and adaptable, with sound judgment and the ability to deliver in a fast\-paced, international environment

Fluent in English; German is an advantage
