About The Role

Salary : €36,400

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

S&W’s Business Tax Team provides tax advisory and compliance services covering all relevant taxes including corporation tax, international tax, indirect tax and employment tax. S&W is seeking a Tax Associate to join its Business Tax Team in the Dublin office.

The Tax Associate will be responsible for assisting senior tax professionals on a variety of tax compliance and advisory projects.

Accordingly, the Tax Associate’s day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include

  • Assisting with the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns and computations.
  • Communicating with clients.
  • Conducting tax research assignments.
  • Drafting technical documentation.
  • Acquiring and building relationships with clients.
  • Supporting senior team members with complex client situations.

To be eligible the individual must possess the following

  • Experience in a tax or accountancy environment.
  • A third level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Academic record with a minimum 2:2 honours degree.
  • Pursuing the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) qualification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
