Housekeeping Staff (m/f/x) – approx. 20 hrs/week

For our two charming hotels in Eeklo — Boutique Hotel Shamon and Aparthotel Acacia — we are looking for a permanent housekeeping team member who helps deliver a flawless and warm guest experience.

You'll join a small team where trust, independence, and responsibility are central. You'll be responsible for the overall cleanliness and thorough cleaning of the rooms and the hotel, working independently most of the time.

What will you do?

Thoroughly clean and make up the hotel rooms

Clean bathrooms and common areas

Change bed linen and towels

Restock hotel supplies

Check cleanliness and quality, including in rooms you didn't clean yourself

Maintain hallways, stairs, and shared spaces

Occasionally help out with breakfast (clearing tables, light prep)

You work independently, take responsibility, and have a strong sense of accountability

You notice what needs to be done: even during quiet moments, you look around and take initiative

You are precise and detail-oriented

You are available to work weekends and on Wednesdays

Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is a strong plus

You speak and understand Dutch and/or English well

Good physical condition is required (climbing stairs)
