Aftermarket Parts & Customer Support Specialist Description

Our client, a division of a well-established global industrial manufacturer, is looking for an Aftermarket Parts Specialist to join their team in Lincoln Park, NJ. One of their team members is stepping away after more than 30 years with the company. Even better, he'll remain available to train and support the next person, giving you plenty of time to get up to speed. You'll partner closely with the Purchasing Manager to support customers with parts inquiries, quotations, and order fulfillment. The company is known for manufacturing premium equipment and has built its business on long-term customer relationships with a loyal customer base. You'll have the opportunity to build deeper relationships in a less transactional environment. Aftermarket Parts & Customer Support Specialist Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for customer replacement parts inquiries• Identify replacement components using ERP, parts catalogs, and technical documentation• Prepare quotations and process replacement parts orders• Coordinate order fulfillment, shipping, returns, and customer updates• Resolve order discrepancies and provide responsive aftermarket support• Build strong relationships with industrial customers through exceptional service• Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and equipment documentation• Develop knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical components• Partner with warehouse and internal teams to ensure accurate order execution• Provide cross-functional support across parts, purchasing, and operations as needed

Aftermarket Parts & Customer Support Specialist Qualifications

  • 3+ years of customer support, account management, or aftermarket service experience required• Working knowledge of mechanical components, industrial equipment, or machinery required• Able to work onsite daily required
