Assembler - Manning

• Peak Workforce Solutions (NEWBOLD SERVICES) is currently hiring for Assemblers in Manning, SC
• -Pay rate is $17.00/hour.
• 1st shift is Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m.
• 2nd Shift Monday thru Friday 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate production line machinery and computers
• Troubleshoot production line machinery
• Perform change-overs
• Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce within specifications. Reject product outside of specification.
• Operate within standard operating procedures.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on production line machinery.

Communication with Operators and Supervisors

• Clean and maintain work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
• Accurately complete process documents
• Complete daily production reports as necessary.
• Perform back-up for others as required
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees
• Order raw materials and supplies
• Able to read a tape measure
• Promote teamwork and build a culture of continuous improvement
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Experience working in manufacturing preferred
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Able to perform all duties and responsibilities listed safely and wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Able to report to every work day, on time and for the entire shift
