Space RCO Configuration Mgt / System Integrator (Senior)Job Location: Dayton, OH - USAOverview MTSI is searching for a Senior Configuration Management / System Integrator professional to support development of Rapid Resilient Command and Control program to deliver a common space vehicle ground system. This handpicked candidate must possess technical expertise and experience with standard procedures for configuration management of engineering and technical projects. Additionally, the candidate will oversee and advise government program management on integration across full spectrum of interfaces, to include coordination with multiple mission partners. In this position, you will be a government consultant to the Space Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO). The Space RCO program office, located at Kirtland AFB, NM, is a small, streamlined organization with dedicated, organic acquisition support functions: contracting, financial management, human resources, security, program management and technical engineering support that are critical in enabling the rapid response required for classified space programs. The mission is to develop and deliver operationally dominant space capabilities at the speed of warfighting relevance in response to Commander, U.S. Space Command requirements. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a high-profile, fast-paced <environment.TM/CM/SI> Principal Duty You will work in a small, highly empowered team where every team member is directly responsible for the success of the program. Responsibilities span technology domains including space rated hardware, software, sensors, and processors in an extremely fast-paced, responsive development environment. This SETA candidate is responsible for the development, management, and implementation of comprehensive training programs for Operations Support/Help Desk personnel and Space Force Operators. This role involves creating and maintaining a variety of training materials, including manuals, guides, and troubleshooting procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, technical writing, and experience with facilitating Table Top Exercises. This SETA candidate will provide in-depth background on space vehicles, ground systems, and/or subsystems to improve program office insight into state-of-the art IC, DoD, commercial and legacy space systems, and C2 requirements and capabilities. You must apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts for highly classified systems, while also effectively communicating complex results with management and executive leadership. The position is location in Colorado Springs support the Combined Program Office. SETA Role and Responsibilities:Performs basic and complex data research and analysis to support management, engineering, and technical projectsAuthors and maintains training manuals, quick start guides, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides to support new and existing personnel· Plans, facilitates, and evaluates exercises to test and refine operational procedures and team responsiveness· Design, develop, and implement training programs for both new and existing personnel· Regularly review and update all training materials to reflect changes in technology, procedures, and operational requirements · Proposes, develops, and implements standard procedures for configuration management to engineering, and technical projectsAuthor and maintain training manuals, quick start guides, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides Prepares data formats, collects, interprets, analyzes, and enters data into spreadsheets, and complies data to develop and produce reports, information, data, and documentation.Records, tracks, and maintains status documents; may develop and generate special reports and progress reports. Assists engineers and other staff in determining requirements for current and future projectsMay also perform data resource management duties such as the development, execution, and performance tracking of plans, policies, and programsOversees and advises government program management on integration across full spectrum of interfaces, to include coordination with multiple mission partnersOversees program and capability documentation is sufficiently defined to operationally needed levels, oversees configuration and integration working groups, and coordinates with management to ensure interface definitions support delivery milestonesProvides system and subsystem integration technical expertise to emerging space-related mission areasCommunicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy—oral and writtenQualificationsRequired skills:Minimum 10+ years DoD/IC, or relevant industry work experienceExceptional qualifications organizational management and integrationUnderstanding of space operational environment and corresponding mission user needsKnowledge of space system engineering, development, and manufacturingExperience in DoD program management including program development and transitionExperience with Integrated Master Schedules, and risk managementExperience with Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statements (PWS)Desired skills:5+years of relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience with SAP and/or SCISystem Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) to Government program officeExperience with rapid prototypingExperience with integrated air, space and cyberspace capabilitiesExperience with ACAT I/II level acquisition programsAbility to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and effective training materialsExperience in planning and executing test campaigns for space systemsFluency with IC organizationsEducationDesired Requirements: An applicable engineering degree from a program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or possess a Professional Engineering licenseRelevant MA/MS/ME degreeClearance:Active TOP SECRET clearance with sensitive compartmentalized information (SCI) and special access program (SAP) eligibility (no less than 2 years total SAP and/or SCI environment experience, with 1-year total within last 5 years) and willingness to submit to a Counter-Intelligence polygraphCandidate must maintain a TS/SCI clearance as a condition of employmentLocation/Travel Requirements:· Full-time, on site in vicinity of Colorado Springs, CO and will require travel up to 30% of time within the continental United States #onsite#MTSI#SpRCO#LI-BG1
