Full-Time Veterinary Nurse Wanted – Everton Park Vet Surgery

About the role

As a Veterinary Nurse at Everton Park Vet Surgery, you will play an important role in supporting our veterinarians and delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing compassionate nursing care to patients, including hospitalised patient monitoring and recovery

Assisting veterinarians with consultations, surgical procedures, dental procedures, and patient care

Preparing patients for procedures, diagnostics, and treatments

Administering medications, treatments, and preventative healthcare as directed by veterinarians

Performing in-house pathology, sample collection, and laboratory tasks

Monitoring anaesthesia and assisting with surgical nursing duties

Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes

Conducting nursing consultations and providing client education and support

Communicating with clients regarding patient care, discharge instructions, and follow-up requirements

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control

Assisting with stock management and ensuring the clinic environment remains organised and efficient

Supporting the wider veterinary team and contributing to a positive clinic culture

This role includes a 2 in 4 Saturday rotation, providing a balanced work-life schedule while supporting our clients and patients when they need us most.

About you

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)

Previous experience working as a veterinary nurse in a clinical environment

A genuine passion for animal welfare and delivering excellent patient care

Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate approach with clients and colleagues

Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive workplace
