The role at a glance
NBBJ Boston
is seeking a
Project Architect/Manager
with experience in the design, documentation and planning of complex projects at various scales. For project management, we are seeking someone who has experience with proposals, contracts and managing small projects. Our market sectors include Science, Healthcare, Higher Education, Mixed-Use Commercial and Corporate Interiors. This is an opportunity to join a fully integrated design studio where a diverse group of visionary designers and architects collaborate as a team from concept design through construction.
In your new role, you will
Support and lead the technical design and documentation of projects at various scales
Participate in client presentations, & coordination with OPM’s
Familiarity in developing and finalizing documents to ensure compliance with building codes, life safety standards, FGI guidelines, with a focus on technical accuracy and regulatory adherence
Coordinate with interior, MEP, and structural disciplines throughout the design and documentation phases
Proven ability to collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, and Project Managers from Concept Design through Construction Administration
What you will need to succeed
10-12 years of experience in architectural design and documentation in medium to large scale building programs
Demonstrated excellence in design and innovation
Experience in projects from design development through construction administration, with exceptional problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and graphic communication skills, effective client relationship skills, and talent for working with diverse teams of designers and consultants in a collaborative environment
Experience with interior documentation and detailing, including casework detailing
Strong Revit proficiency
Professional Licensure or progress toward licensure is encouraged.
LEED Accreditation, encouraged
Familiarity with LEAN Concepts, encouraged
The annual base pay range for this role is anticipated to be between $110,000 and $120,000. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
This role requires the individual to be based in the United States.
