This position will be in-office.What you will doInspect, calibrate, maintain, and repair critical instrumentation including transmitters, control valves, flow meters, temperature elements, and gas detection systemsTroubleshoot and resolve instrumentation, control, and measurement issues to support safe and efficient plant operationsExecute and document inspections for critical, environmental, quality, and maintenance instrumentation systemsMaintain and repair electrical components such as motor starters, breakers, lighting systems, and mobile equipmentInspect, adjust, and repair process-related equipment including weight scales used for verification and controlSupport operations by diagnosing complex process control issues and ensuring accurate measurements and system reliabilityRead and interpret manuals, drawings, and specifications while installing and maintaining process instrumentation systems including impulse tubing and air supplyWhat you bringRequired:High School Diploma or GEDNCCER certification in Industrial InstrumentationMinimum 5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation in a petrochemical or similar environmentMinimum 2 years of experience with industrial electrical systemsDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pneumatic, electronic, and analytical instrumentation systemsStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with operations and follow direction from senior technicians or supervisorsWillingness to cross-train as an Electrician, work overtime, and support shift schedules as neededIt’d be great if you also have:Associate of Science degree in Industrial Instrumentation or related field10+ years of experience in an industrial or petrochemical plant environment5+ years of experience with industrial electrical systemsExperience with DCS/PLC systems, including basic programming and troubleshootingProficiency with Microsoft Office and other systems (e.g., Workday, SharePoint, Adobe)Ability to read, interpret, and create blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawingsStrong problem-solving skills and proficiency with instrumentation test equipment and toolsBenefits of joining AlbemarleCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits packageA diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personallyWe are partners to one another in pioneering new ways to be better for ourselves, our teams, and our communities.
